180 of our trainees along with their line managers, and partners recently teamed up with 'Get Hands On', an organisation that help build new facilities for communities, and made their way to Richard MacVicar Adventure Playground. They spent the day restoring wooden fences on the play equipment, painting, litter picking, redecorating walls and wheelbarrowing approximately 22 tonnes of soil into the playground to create walkways. The team's hard work has provided the children and community of Deptford a place to enjoy for years to come.
On 8 March 2023 we celebrated International Women's Day at Crowe. Led by our Women's Empowerment network, our people came together across our offices to strike the #EmbraceEquity pose which was this year's theme. We held events across our UK offices and collected donations for SmartWorks a charity which supports women back into work by providing them with skills and clothing to conduct a successful interview
We have launched a national programme to support local community projects. We kicked this off in November when 40 people from Crowe teamed up with Get Hands On working with The Shadwell Community Project in East London. This is a registered charity based at the Glamis Adventure Playground and our task was to spend the day refurbishing it. Have a look at our video of the day.
We were thrilled to be at Manchester Pride on 27 August 2022, walking in solidarity as we support our LGBTQ+ network at Crowe and the wider community #crowewalkswithpride.
