The TA Team were back on the road again to visit the beautiful county of Cornwall supporting Lisa & some of our incredible Retail Managers from the South West to recruit a fresh batch of Krispy Kremers' for our newest (and first in the area!) store in Truro. 🍩 Fresh Doughnut's, delivered daily - opening 04 July! 😎
At least once a year, the whole support office team leave their laptops at home and spend the day out in operations. The plan is to help our operations teams across retail, manufacturing, and logistics in the lead up to our busiest times throughout the year, most recently being Halloween. We call this activity, “helping hands”. Everyone from the people and culture team to the marketing and finance team as well as the whole of operations, share the same cultures. Our Leadership Mix consists of 12 key ingredients, one of which is, as a business, we don’t take ourselves too seriously and although we are there to support, during our helping hands days out… we have a lot of fun doing so! After all, spreading joy and creating smiles is what we are all about.
WHAT’S A TYPICAL DAY LIKE? It’s completely different from one day to the next so there’s nothing typical about my days! I can go from advising on ER/HR related matters to Performance and Development conversations to recruitment to looking at the overall People strategy of the function all in one day. One thing that is the same every day is my role in making sure I’m the cultural ambassador for Krispy Kreme. WHY KRISPY KREME – WHAT’S THE BEST PART TO WORKING HERE? Everyone will say free doughnuts I’m sure but for me it’s about working for a company that has been built from the ground up and feeling like you can make a huge difference very quickly. WHAT’S THE CULTURE IN THE COMPANY LIKE? The culture feels like we are a family. We all strive together to make Krispy Kreme as successful as possible. We are all about giving smiles to people and it’s hard not to smile when you’re talking about doughnuts right?
A great #besweet day volunteering at Treloars College in Hampshire. Treloar's provides education, care, therapy, medical support and independence to young people with disabilities.
