The Group are delighted to announce that the Federation of Awarding Bodies have elected our very own Charlotte Bosworth, Innovate's Managing Director, as their new Chair. This follows the announcement that Co-Chairs, Kirstie Donnelly MBE and Alan Woods OBE will be standing down in Spring 2024. A huge congratulations to Charlotte on her successful appointment and putting the Group in such an influential position.
During this year’s Sector conferences, our teams came together to raise money for various causes taking part in games, competitions and some good old-fashioned bucket shaking whilst people were full of the merriment of the festive period. Active Leisure, Business and Commerce raised £810, Management and Professional Services raised £204 and Hospitality raised £2,155. Instead of cash, Care donated items to a local food bank - a wonderful alternative to those most in need. This year half of the cash donations (£1,584) will go to our charity partner, the Mental Health Foundation and the other half (£1,584) will go to Beacon Lodge, a charity close to the heart of one of our Coaches who sadly passed away earlier this year. Our grand total for the Mental Health Foundation now sits at an amazing £4,389 (+GiftAid).

Lifetime were in the national spotlight this week as our partnership with England Boxing and Coach Core saw us take home three UK Coaching awards; Young Coach of the Year 2023 (Gabrielle Reid), Coach Developer of the Year 2023 (Wasim Collins - for the second year in a row!) and the Inclusive Coaching Award 2023 for our Community Boxing Apprenticeship Programme.

As part of Transgender Awareness Week, Lifetime's Commercial Director, Lucy Auchincloss has openly shared her experience of being a transgender woman and her experience of transitioning.
