Last week we celebrated Armed Forces week and shone a light on our community of over 500 armed forces alumni across M Group! We recognise the invaluable skills, discipline, and leadership that Armed Forces personnel bring. As a holder of the Armed Forces Covenant Gold Award, we’re proud to support our people who have served. Their experience, discipline, and values continue to make a meaningful impact across our business. We sent everyone a pin to symbolise our appreciation and recognition for their service, and of the vital role the Armed Forces community plays within M Group and beyond. We hope they’ll wear the pin with pride. We actively support those transitioning to civilian careers, offering roles that make the most of their expertise. With structured career pathways, training, and mentoring, we ensure a smooth transition, so they can make an impact quickly. #wesoluteourarmedforces

We recently held M Group’s very first Inclusion Conference! Over the past year, we've seen a powerful shift towards embracing diversity, equity and inclusion at the heart of our Group through our ENABLE framework. It’s a core part of who we are and how we’re creating a more inclusive workplace for our people. Nicola Shaw CBE, CEO of Yorkshire Water, took to the stage to talk about breaking the gender bias. Kelly Grainger, CEO of Perfectly Autistic, shared their own experiences to inspire our people to break down the stigmas associated with neurodivergence. We wrapped up the conference on a fantastic note, with our Enabling Social Mobility panellists; discussing and exploring the impact of social mobility on career progression and organisational diversity. After a day filled with insightful discussions and amazing ideas, we’re all feeling inspired and ready to take action. Let’s be change-makers and champions of inclusion for everyone we encounter, fostering an inclusive environment, whether at work or home. Together, we can make a positive impact and create meaningful change! You too can be a part of it! Take a look at career opportunities across our Group
