Millions of people are digitally excluded, locking them out of the things that most of us take for granted in a digital world. This is something we at Methods feel strongly about, and we are therefore delighted to announce that Good Things Foundation has been voted by our Methods colleagues, as our charity partner for this year! Methods and Good Things Foundation will be partnering on fundraising, employee engagement, and advocacy work to together #FixTheDigitalDivide. We will deepen our knowledge around digital inclusion and work with Good Things Foundation to engage our staff in fundraising and advocacy on behalf of the cause. Our partnership will utilise our expertise and commitment to make a positive impact in the lives of adults who are digitally excluded. You can find out more about our partnership with Good Things Foundation, as well as our social value policy on our website.
At Methods, across all three companies, the wellbeing and safety of colleagues are our top priorities. With this in mind, we recently reviewed our maternity and paternity policies, seeking input from our Colleague Forum and our DE&I Group, and benchmarking across our industry. As a result, we are delighted to announce that we have enhanced maternity and paternity packages that are aimed at being amongst the best available, to help our people when it comes to planning finances and parental leave once a new baby is born. Our new maternity policy will see those eligible receive 26 weeks full time pay (less Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP)), followed by 13 weeks half pay (plus the flat rate of SMP).* Our new paternity policy will offer an additional 2 weeks of paid leave in addition to Statutory Paternity Leave.* We know growing a family can lead to uncertain times, and we are delighted to be able to listen, understand, and respond to what our people needed. *T&Cs apply
