Winners of this year’s Reactions London Market Re/insurance Awards were revealed at a glittering ceremony at the Grange Tower Bridge Hotel on Wednesday night. SCOR's managing director Malcolm Newman received judges’ awards for contribution to the industry.
Having completed the 40 mile London to Reading bike ride for the British Heart Foundation in March, London employee Gytis Stankevicius took part in the London to Brighton bike ride for the same charity on June 17. Along with over 15,000 others, he cycled 54 miles (86.3 km) from London’s Clapham Common to the Brighton seafront, finishing in an impressive 3 hours and 26 minutes. As well as raising vital funds for cardiovascular research, Gytis said he hoped his participation would help to promote a healthier and more active lifestyle, as a frontline defense against heart disease.
On Sunday, 3 June, we had a good deal of participation in table tennis, and our women’s doubles team made up of Lora Karaim and Amber Hammersland won the gold! KC Challenge
