At Synthesia, some of the questions we are most often asked on our calls with software engineers revolve around what our day-to-day work in the Product and Engineering team would look like, how the team is organised and how they work, what the work-life balance is like and if we sit in meetings the whole day 😁 We decided to talk with Ante Burazer, one of our Full-stack engineers and part of the Editor team, to give us a first-person perspective. AI is fundamentally changing the way we create content. Here's our latest experiment: Anna, one of our AI avatars, is counting to 1 million live on TikTok, over 45 days, while answering viewers questions 🤯 She's counting sheep to help TikTokers sleep better at night. It will take her 45 days in total and she’s currently approaching 900 000. So far, we've had 2 million people turn into the livestream, several thousand concurrent viewers and more than 7m on related videos. It's the longest live stream ever (according to Guinness) and also features other content formats besides counting: Influencer takeovers, relaxation stories, ASMR intermezzos and Q&A sessions. 🤖 🔮 While this is a fun experiment to push the boundaries of technology (and some of our coming tech...), it also presents an interesting peek into the future of AI-enabled content creation and all the new things we'll be able to do with it. Producing 64,800 minutes of content would be pretty challenging using traditional production methods! 🥵 And that’s exactly what makes the future of synthetic media so exciting!
