Over two years, these talented individuals immersed themselves in all aspects of TUI's tech landscape, gaining hands-on experience in: ✈️ Flight sourcing 📱 Mobile app development 💻 TUI website & payments 🌐 Platform enablers & engagement Some even completed a Master’s degree alongside their apprenticeship, showcasing their dedication and drive! Now, they’re officially part of the TUI family, thriving in software development roles - some specialising in cloud computing and mobile application development. We’re so proud to see them continue to innovate and contribute to our journey of connecting people to unforgettable holidays. Meet Jordan, Customer Experience Manager who recently celebrated the second annual UK&I Customer Day with his team at our Luton office! 🏢✨ This day included a record number of our colleagues coming together to celebrate our customers and participate in fun activities held by our brilliant teams in Customer Operations, Retail, Talent Acquisition and many more! ✈️💼 This day was the perfect opportunity to celebrate the amazing work our colleagues do each day to create unforgettable customer experiences and boost our 'Makers of Happy' culture! 🥰 💬 "It was fantastic to pull together a Customer Experience Rep team from all over the UK and bring them together for the ultimate education to our wider teams in the business." What does Black History Month mean to you? 💭 Meet Regina, a Senior Finance Analyst working in the Airline Finance department at TUI. ✈️💼📈 This Black History Month, we asked Regina to share her thoughts on what Black History Month personally means to her: "I think Black History Month is a great time for celebration of black excellence which may sometimes go unnoticed or sometimes forgotten about. Every year I learn something new through Black History Month and I can imagine it is the same for many others too. It’s also a great time to really hone in on representation." Away from her finance role, Regina is also a member of the TUI Caribbean & African Network (TUI CAN), which gives her a place to feel valued and connect with other colleagues from similar backgrounds. 🤝🏾✨ "TUI CAN does amazing work in understanding how to support its black and mixed heritage colleagues. It encourages you to bring your authentic self to work. Often colleagues may feel the need to hold back a lot of their personality out of fear of being misunderstood, or not fitting in as well due to differences whether cultural or social. TUI CAN has done a lot of work to promote representation and also support colleagues to come as they are." At TUI, we are proud to have employee networks like TUI CAN, which not only give our Black and mixed heritage employees a safe space to socialise but also provide allies with the opportunity to learn more about the Black and Mixed-Race experience.
Last week, our TUI Hindu Network held vibrant celebrations at Wigmore House for Navratri 2024! 🕉️✨ Navratri is a Hindu festival that consists of nine days of celebrating the Divine Feminine. These beautiful and colourful celebrations at Wigmore included traditional Garba and Dandiya dancing, along with an array of delicious treats such as Kaju Barfi and a variety of samosas.😋 The TUI HAS is just one of the brilliant employee networks we have at TUI, providing our staff with a safe place to feel valued and connect with colleagues from similar backgrounds. 🤗 These networks give our employees the opportunity to learn about other walks of life and help TUI become even more inclusive! Events like this are a wonderful way to embrace new cultures, and we can't wait to see what's next! ❤️

Two weeks ago, our new cohort of international graduates landed in Hanover for a jam-packed induction week to kick off their two-year graduate programme! 🎓✈️✨ From a retail day at our TUI superstore to an exciting airport tour, our graduates had an incredible week attending insightful presentations and participating in fun team-building activities. They also had the opportunity to meet business leaders, listen to inspiring speeches, and learn about what makes a great multinational team. 🌍 Of course, they finished off the week preparing for their first assignments too! 😉 We can't wait to see all they achieve on this exciting journey! 💙

According to Bianca, she has the best job in the world 😍 Ready to hear why? ⬇️ 💬 On March 18th, 2009, a 20-year-old me boarded a plane to Gran Canaria, thinking I’d do 6 months and then get a “proper job.” Little did I know, I’d become addicted to overseas life! 🌍 Fast forward 16 summers and 14 winters, I’ve made lifelong friends, worked in beautiful destinations, and had the best holidays. I’ve dealt with some “character-building” situations, married 40 couples, and enjoyed amazing days and nights! ✨ I’ve worked alongside some of my closest friends, helping to build, coach, and develop great teams. I’ve had the opportunity to work in most of our concept roles, creating everlasting holiday memories for thousands of guests. 🌴 I found my happy place in my favourite hotel, Sensatori by TUI Blue. Today, 36-year-old me is living my best life in Turkey with my Mr. Right. We’re ready to buy our first house and get married next year! 💙 I feel so lucky to have a job that fits my lifestyle and allows me to meet people from all walks of life while managing a team of great individuals. My job has given me more life experience and taught me more than I could ever have imagined. 🌟
