Our #charity network is unstoppable. Despite the challenging year, they've continued to show up and find ways to support our charity partner, Coram Beanstalk 🌼 and we're now at the quarter-way point of our £600,000 fundraising target! Whether it's training for the London Marathon in October (Go Oliver Bryan!), or covering the distance of our sites across the world as a global team (check out the customer care team's Very big walk diaries below), we can't help but feel super proud of what our people can achieve together.

We've committed to the British Retail Consortium (BRC) Roadmap to Net Zero which aims to make the entire retail industry in the UK carbon neutral by 2040. At The Very Group - Experimentation drives innovation 🚀 Behind every new shopping feature on our sites and apps, there’s a top team of tech people and a whole lot of experimentation and analysis too. We recently went live with multi-select filter functionality on our sites, to help customers navigate our thousands of world famous brands and products within a few quick clicks. Our team of experts are behind the scenes monitoring performance of the experiment and how it improves our customer journey before releasing it to a base of 4.5m customers. The lockdown glow-up ✨ Today we're revealing the reinvented workspaces of our HQ Liverpool and Bolton offices, both now fit for the new working world, and more importantly, fit for The Very Group 💖 We've created incredible new workspaces to collaborate, innovate, learn and socialise as part of our investment and move to a hybrid working model. The spaces are #inclusive and #accessible, featuring lower-level sinks and countertops in the kitchen, and gender-neutral facilities in The Hub at Skyways, as well as environmentally friendly with carbon-neutral flooring, and recycled furniture too! A massive thank you and well done to everyone involved, especially Greenmount Projects Ltd who nailed the brief and created something amazing for us all to enjoy when we’re able to come back together.

Today we’re sharing our 2020 Christmas trading update covering the seven weeks to 25th December 2020. It was a festive period like no other, but thanks to our togetherness, energy and focus, and our new state of the art fulfilment centre, we delivered a 25% increase in retail sales at Very and attracted over half a million new customers. Today we held a live viewing party to unveil the amazing space we've created for our customer care team at our Liverpool HQ hosted by customer care director Mark Billingham and a team of experts to give us the virtual tour. The new and improved campus will eventually be home to our customer care teams who will work on a flexible model, when it is safe to do so, splitting their time between home and work so they can come together two days a week to collaborate, work, learn and play too. ✨
