Huge congratulations to members of our Claims Team who won awards in December 2021 at the Health Claims Forum Above and Beyond Awards! One of our Seconded Claims Managers received the rising star awards by transforming turnaround times in claims across Group Critical Illness and Group Life in just 4 months One of our Claims Assessors also walked away with the Training and Education Award after 2021 saw her volunteer to undertake Level 6 Oncology Training facilitated by the Royal Marsden, which gave her a greater understanding of cancer diagnosis and treatment. She has spread this knowledge throughout the team so we can offer the best support we can to employees covered by Unum policies who are diagnosed with cancer. While winning these awards is of course the icing on the cake, much more importantly their achievements and dedication to our customers over the past year have been key to us improving the efficiency and empathy with which we support the people who come to us in a time of need.
