This week, we've kicked off our Get Green initiative at UW. We've looked at what eco-friendly improvements we can make here at Head quarters and completed events throughout the week to make us more mindful of how our individual actions affect our world. First up, we banished single use cups - giving everyone their very own, reusable UW mug, water bottle and thermos. We created some competition using the Electric pedal bikes, understanding how much energy it takes to boil a kettle by cycling as fast as we can! Had talks from Greenpeace, Wise up to waste and affinity water along with others to educate us on how to tackle climate change. A great week to help change bad habits!
