At Warburtons, people are at the heart of our business. Whether that’s our employees, our suppliers, our partners, or our communities 🧡 🍞 We've been out and about over the last few weeks in our local communities, supporting Urban Outreach in providing packed lunches for children over the summer holidays, who would usually receive a free school meal. Last year, our team at Stockton Bakery took part in creating an episode of the re-launched 80s hit show Challenge Anneka! We're excited to announce that the episode will air this Saturday, 25th March at 8.50pm on Channel 5! 🎬 Focused on the foodbank, Sprouts, which has outgrown its town centre location; Anneka's challenge is to help supersize their operation by transforming a run-down neighbourhood hall and its surrounding land into a new hub with its own cafe, teaching kitchen, food bank and storage facility for community activities. 🧡 We were delighted to take the Sprouts team around Stockton's crumpet plant to show them how the products would be made, before providing them with a delivery of crumpets and other products, helped by the teams at Riverside & Newburn.
