At Zizzi we're excited to celebrate giving Tuesday and to share how, with just small change, we can make a significant impact when customers choose to dine with us. Every receipt can contribute to working towards good mental health for all thanks to Pennies Micro-donations. £1.5 million raised! What a significant milestone to celebrate this giving Tuesday! A huge thank you to all our fantastic teams who have encouraged customers to add a digital micro-donation to their bill. Over the years we have raised £1.5 million for our charity partners including Princes Trust, Cancer Research and, most recently, Mental Health Foundation.
🎉 Last week, we had an incredible time celebrating Zizzi Fest! After taking on big inflatables last year, this year we braved the rapids. Over 400 amazing team members joined us at Lee Valley White Water Centre for a day filled with team togetherness, white-water rafting, and fundraising for our charity partner, the Mental Health Foundation. We gathered all our General Managers, Operations and Support teams together to celebrate Zizzi at our Annual Roadshow – and what an event that was! The day was all about Growth and, most importantly talking about how we can make every experience more meaningful for our customers and teams alike. This award recognises Italian restaurants that excel in bringing food, families, and friends together across the nation. Since opening our first Zizzi in 1999, we have expanded to 138 restaurants (and counting!) across the UK and Republic of Ireland. Zizzi celebrates #NationalApprenticeshipWeek This is Andreea and her Operations Manager Tom in the Home Counties. Andreea is working through the Level 3 Hospitality Manager Apprenticeship in partnership with HIT Training. Here’s what her Operations Manager Tom has to say... “Having the Apprenticeship Programme gives further clarity for our teams on the pathway they can take to grow themselves with Zizzi and establish a career in hospitality. HIT has been excellent with our current apprentice Andreea; she looks forward to their meetings and speaks highly of the support provided, how it’s fun, interactive, and well structured.
