Welcome on board the latest Open Skies crew 10 more members of the head office team graduated from the 6th Open Skies course, having completing 3 intense weeks of training to become fully fledged Cabin Crew. Not only can they now deliver the same high levels of service our customers expect from our Cabin Crew, they can also deal with wide variety of medical situations and put out a fire at 36,000ft. Over the next couple of weeks they will be taking to the skies alongside our LTN and TXL based crew as they complete their final element of their training - familiarisation flying.
Last week our Apprenticeship team attended the East Midlands regional finals of the National Apprenticeship Awards. The awards celebrate apprenticeships and apprentices from all industries across the UK. We’re very proud to have won the Regional Recruitment Excellence Award and to be highly commended for the ‘Regional Macro Employer of the Year’ award. Our talented engineering apprentice Katie Edney was also recognised as ‘Regional Rising Star of the Year’. Next stop: the national finals!
