About Higgidy

We are a fourth generation family company with 13 businesses producing high quality chilled foods for the British market, employing over 8,000 people in well-invested, modern sites in Leicestershire and Cornwall. We only use the best quality ingredients, many of which we source locally, to produce premium chilled foods from pies and sandwiches to ready meals for our retail customers and our own brands: Ginsters, Soreen, Sci Mx, West Cornwall Pasty Company and Dickinson & Morris. Being family-owned gives us the stability to invest and grow for the long term, offering new opportunities for our customers, staff, suppliers and local communities. We believe that our long term success depends upon continuous improvement in everything we do: better products for the consumer, service to our customers and opportunities for our staff, whilst becoming more efficient as we do it. Underlying this philosophy is a decentralised business allowing the best and fastest decisions to be taken by sites that run autonomously.
