Interview
The manager I spoke to seemed fine at first but was then very unpleasant and condescending when I responded to her question of "tell me about yourself" with "well, what would you like to know?" I explained I do not deal well with very vague questions (I am autistic but didn't want to share this) and could probably talk for a while without giving the information she wanted, therefore it would be easier if she specified what she was asking me for. She then started talking down to me, asking how I expected to be able to talk to customers if I couldn't answer her question to which I replied, "because I've already worked in sales for 3 years and i'll have been trained in the products, therefore will know what questions to ask to explore their needs". The rest of the interview was generic retail sales stuff and went fine but I was very put off the company by this rude lady
First stage is a more casual phone conversation, then invited to a more formal interview with manager about experience, then final stage is to be invited for 'on the job experience' in store where you shadow a team member
