I was contacted for an HR interview with Finastra and scheduled a call with the recruiter. During the call, I was told I had to provide personal documents (residence permit, NIF, NISS) before the interview could actually proceed, although this requirement had not been mentioned in prior emails. I asked if we could at least continue with the interview since time had already been scheduled, but this was presented as a blocking requirement. Since I was not comfortable sharing such documents at such an early stage, I declined via email. Later, I was informed that the documents could have been provided at a later stage, which made the situation confusing and raised the question of why the interview could not start as scheduled.
