I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at GlobalStep (Pune) in May 2026
Interview
first they called us at 12pm, vacancies were low but still they took about alteast 600 candidates who were shamelessly asked to sit in the staircase due to small space and few chair, Actual interview process was gamming round, aptitude then hr interview but they consumed the whole day just for 1st round which is casual interview and 2nd as gaming round and after that they made us all sit till 7pm just to know the result then selected ones were told to come back after 1 day apart at 2pm, then the other day they took aptitude test and then the final HR round at nearly 9:30 PM even the interviewers were crying to leave but were forced to take the interview, we were thirsty and hungry who have eaten only their breakfast and we were supposed to perform good at the interview, i was so exhausted and hungry that my mouth was struggling to speak words, while they didnt gave any break so that we can go out for eating something, water was also available but if u drink then you'll have to visit washroom again and again which their guards were kind of hesitant about also its kind of embarassing.
The interview is easy as long as you understand English and your own language very well. Some basic logic for gaming and testing are also required. You also need to show the passion to play the game or your career plan is the gaming industry.
