I applied online. I interviewed at Guardant Health in Mar 2026
Interview
The interview consisted of meeting with HR than the Hiring manager. After 4 weeks of waiting and no communication from HR I was sent a vague message saying they went with another candidate. I wish there was more transparency but overall disappointed in how the recruitment process was handled. Now I see why you all have such bad interview reviews..get it together.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Guardant Health in Feb 2026
Interview
SR. Sales Recruiter will grill the hell out of any gap, while she also has a 2.5 year gap before joining. Doesn't accept any excuses and tells you that you need to be hungry.... Mind you this recruiter reached out to me through LinkedIn. This company relies on very old school tactics of interviewing as well as has very conservative values when it comes to seeking job candidates. So even though you may have over 5 years of experience in the biotech field, having a gap will disqualify you. I think it may be best to take a look at competitors in the field, they seem to treat you much better through the interview process.

Question 1
Why do you have a gap? Why don't you have a job? What are you doing with your life? This job requires you to be hungry, are you hungry?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Guardant Health (New York, NY) in May 2024
Interview
The interview process was lengthy and a bit chaotic. It required a lot of follow-up on my end to get the next step scheduled and confirmed. I assumed this was because I was not on their priority list. Everyone I interviewed with was extremely pleasant and I had great conversations. They state in the job description that they are open to candidates from other industries, but those with a medical background are definitely preferred.
