I applied online. I interviewed at Keyrock in Mar 2026
Interview
Interviewed for the SOC Analyst I role. The process dragged on for 2.5 months (March–May) with multiple rounds: recruiter, CISO, Head of Security, CTO, plus a detailed case study and presentation that required significant time and effort.
Following the final interview, I was informed that I would receive an update within days. However, despite multiple follow-ups, communication stopped entirely. Nearly three weeks later, I received a rejection stating that the role had been placed on hold and they are not hiring.
What was particularly disappointing was that I had come across similar Glassdoor reviews referencing poor communication and prolonged interview timelines, and unfortunately, I experienced the exact same thing.
While I understand that hiring priorities can change, but asking candidates to invest this much time only to disappear is extremely unprofessional. A more transparent and timely communication process would have reflected greater professionalism and respect for candidates’ time and effort.
