      Jul 10, 2020
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at UNiDAYS (London, England) in May 2020

      Interview

It was a face to face interview. They declined me via an automated email. They did not give any explanation why they did not take me on. They just copied and paste an email and did not even change the date.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at UNiDAYS in Mar 2022

      Interview

Total breath of fresh air. I applied directly via their website, it took a while to hear back and initially took that silence as being unsuccessful in the CV sift however about 4 weeks after applying I did get through to the initial stage 1 screening interview with their Talent Partner - turns out there was an internal delay with the process! Stage 1 was a short 30min call with a Talent Partner to discuss your experience and motivation for applying alongside notice periods and general admin bits. Stage 2 was the following week and was with the hiring managers only. It was again 30 minutes and was quite an informal structure with really open communication. Standard interview questions were asked however not in your usual competency based structure. Lots of opportunity to ask questions and clarify role responsibilities. Stage 3 was split into two 30 minute calls, one with the Head of Customer Success where you would be asked a few more questions surrounding knowledge of the company, motivations and your experience. Second was a peer interview with members of the team who you would potentially be working closely with. This was more a chance to briefly run over your experience but more to find out about culture, team dynamics and why employees enjoy working for the company. Again this was quite a chatty informal structure and at all stages communication was very open and any questions were welcomed. All interviews were done virtually via webcam which I didnt mind. After doing a fair few interviews over the last month, and really holding out for this particular role I can say the experience was massively positive and at no point did I feel intimidated or overly nervous and that's due to the calm and informal manner that the interviews are structured in. I got my offer 3 days after my final stage, accepted instantly and cannot wait to start!
