Description Hughes Electrical is a family owned and run company founded by Frank Hughes in Lowestoft in 1921. To this day, over 100 years later, Hughes remains a true family business with the third generation of Robert and Jeremy Hughes now at the helm.
Hughes sells, rents and services both domestic and commercial products to the general public and businesses through 19 shops, 3 service centres, 5 trade counters as well as online and in-home. This breadth of business means that Hughes is not dependent on any one channel, category, customer or supplier so it has always been able to grow - whatever the circumstances. The result is that Hughes has remained a profitable and financially secure company.
Hughes is not only a family company in name, but also in attitude.
