Investing in our people
At MHA, we're passionate about investing in our MHA people. We place great importance on enabling all of our staff to achieve their full potential so that they can enjoy a long and varied career with us. Our investment in your personal development and training begins as soon as you start work with us, and continues throughout your career.
From apprenticeships and qualifications to diplomas, we've got plenty of opportunities for you to excel in your career at MHA.
We are a national charity
As one of the very few not-for-profit care providers in the UK, we have no shareholders. This means that we're dedicated to reinvesting any surplus that we receive back into the services we provide, to ensure our care and support remains among the very best.
Our charitable income helps to fund our specialist services in our care homes - music therapy for people living with dementia, our chaplaincy support, and new projects introducing Tiny Tablets and robotic pets.
MHA care homes: Live later life well
Our care begins with our residents and their individual, personal needs.
Whether it's residential, nursing or dementia care, our residents and their loved ones can be confident of our rich history of delivering some of the most highly rated, person-centered care in the sector.
Each of our care homes has its own weekly activity programme, as well as regular outings, a 'Seize the Day' scheme, and the presence of a dedicated chaplain. Activities are diverse and we offer a range to suit residents' hobbies, interests and abilities.
Our high standards of care
"We’re dedicated to providing high-quality care and support for older people across the UK.
Our care begins with the individual's personal needs, offering residential, nursing, and dementia care.
Each of our care homes has an Activities Coordinator who prepares a weekly activity programme, our dedicated Kitchen Teams provide freshly prepared meals and our Chaplains support our residents, their families, and all our colleagues
MHA chaplaincy
Each of our care homes and retirement living communities has a dedicated chaplain to provide companionship, and one-to-one pastoral support for all residents, their friends and relatives, and staff members - for all faiths and none - and organise worship for those who wish to participate. Where appropriate, residents are encouraged to maintain links with local faith communities.
