Description Employing over 10,000 colleagues, we’re a leading retail convenience business owned by Tesco, however we operate as a separate business. Our Store Support Centre is located in Walsall, West Midlands and we have over 1,000 company and franchise neighbourhood stores across Great Britain.
Our stores offer local communities an impressive range of fresh and chilled food, cupboard essentials, lunchtime meal deals as well as frozen food, household essentials, snacks and treats. Whether it’s popping in for a quick lunchtime snack, or grabbing ingredients for an evening meal, One Stop has everything customers need.
Our incredible team of colleagues are at the forefront of our fast-paced business, whether they’re fundraising for local causes, helping customers with their weekly shop or just simply a friendly face to chat to while customers grab their groceries. Everyone is welcome at One Stop. Diversity and inclusion are at the heart of our values and we’re proud to be an inclusive workplace that celebrates our colleagues’ cultures, personalities and preferences!
Our franchise business was launched in 2014 and has been flourishing ever since. With over 300 stores, it has evolved to become one of the most attractive business models for convenience retailers and entrepreneurs.
We’re also proud to be winners of multiple industry awards such as Convenience Retailer of the Year 2022, Multiple Community Retailer of the Year 2022 and Best Use of Technology 2023 at the Retail Industry Awards and Symbol/Franchise Retailer of the Year 2021 at The Grocer Gold awards.
We’re passionate about serving the planet a little better every day, making changes to ensure we’re doing everything we can to reduce our environmental impact and put sustainability at the forefront of what we do. These changes include initiatives such as ensuring our company-owned stores are supplied with 100% renewable electricity, fitting LED lighting, replacing our chillers and freezers with others that use significantly less emissions. We’ve also reduced our emissions from transport by 18%, saving around 185,000 litres of fuel!
