Pros

Bonus scheme when it's met Healthcare Sickness/Parental leave

Cons

Working Expectations, always on all the time. Unwelcoming environment, either work from home or come into the office and hope for a desk which has adequate set up (screens etc) which meant being in by 8am at least. Lack of training - changed roles within the business (after being encouraged from a very different role), but was then given zero training and expected to cope from the get go. Overworked, if successful in a new role within the business you're expected to 'duel-role' for as long as it takes to fill and train your old role which just about killed me off. Unsupportive - When I expressed I was really struggling with my mental health, I was interrogated as to why and what I was doing to make it better. I was a shell of myself by the end of the time I worked from there and lacked any confidence at all after previously being a very confident, capable and well respected person. After almost 2 years out of the business now, I can reflect on just how terrible that experience was now I'm back thriving in a different business. We often stick around to try and get that one last bonus, or for the benefits elsewhere but it is just not worth it.

Pros

Great people, great brands, wide head office team for support, great communication from drinks dispense, good sales teams that support each other, cool head office in London.

Cons

Progression can be challenging, They don't promote so much based on merit. You will need to spend a lot of time networking internally to learn the next role inside out before you apply in order to be considered. It's catch 22 - to network to the level they expect, your current role is likely to take a hit. Some people get promoted that haven't achieved much in their current role because they have been focussing on the next role more. Some people are promoted into senior roles that are not experienced enough.

Pros

Working at AB InBev is intense but rewarding. The environment is fast-paced, and you’re surrounded by highly driven, energetic colleagues who push you to bring your A-game every day. I learned more in my first year than I could have imagined — if you’re eager and take ownership, there’s a lot of room to grow quickly. The benefits and conditions are solid, and the company truly invests in talent with global career opportunities.

Cons

That said, the workload can be heavy, and the pressure to perform is real. The company is very shareholder-focused, which sometimes leads to short-term decision-making and frequent course corrections. It requires a lot of adaptability and resilience, especially if you prefer a more stable strategic environment.
