Pros

Good to be working to help cats 99% of volunteers are lovely people

Cons

Branch management turning a blind eye to blatant bullying within the branch from a volunteer towards fellow volunteers who this person believes to be easy targets. Several complaints have been made about this person but nothing changes.

Pros

I work with a great team, it’s a good dynamic and it works really well, I’m lucky to have a great line manager who doesn’t see me as a number and is personable in her approach with me, and really takes the time to listen. Working hours are very sociable with the option to work from home, I feel allot more stress free and there Is no ounce of micromanaging at all, so it’s really nice to feel in control of my work load and it reflects my performance, and having this working environment only motivates me to want to go above and beyond. The pay is very fair and we are paid when we are promised so there is no worry about having to follow that up. (I’ve only been here a short amount of time so I’m not entirely sure if there’s such thing as pay reviews) but I’m certainly feeling I’ve found a sense of belonging and valued for my work. And there are great internal training courses and opportunities to get involved in.

Cons

I wouldn’t say this is necessarily a con but maybe we could create a system where anonymous feed back can be sent in from employers, and have a part where we can give praise to our colleagues as a sign for recognition a nice little morale boost a way to offer thanks to one another.
