If you find the right people in the business, they are really helpful and supportive
Cons
Some managers are either too hands on or too hands off. Need a balance. Hands on manager was bit like dictatorship without fully understanding the differences in roles and trying to fit square peg into a round hole; all about visibility of KPIs and ticket hygiene, but not understanding the difference between Incident Management and Problem management. Hands off was fine, but didn't have the guidance and support when things got tricky and I was needing governance on a project which was not given by the PM.
