Pros

Salary has always been credited on time. The company offered work-from-home flexibility during the pandemic and continued it for the next 2–3 years, which helped maintain a good work-life balance. In my current role, planned leave is generally approved if informed in advance.

Cons

There have been no promotions or salary appraisals for me in the last four years. When I joined, I was informed that I did not fit into that year's appraisal cycle. The following year, the appraisal process was affected by the industry writers' strike. After that, the company cited business challenges and requested employees to accept salary deductions for several months, with the assurance that the company was prioritizing avoiding layoffs. Since business conditions improved in early 2025, there has been little communication from management regarding promotions or appraisals. Although performance reviews were completed several months ago, employees continue to receive only general assurances that decisions are "in progress" or awaiting finance approval. Workload and performance expectations are consistently very high, creating significant pressure without corresponding career growth or compensation. Better transparency and timely communication from leadership regarding compensation, promotions, and career progression would greatly improve employee confidence and morale.
