Pros

There are SOME nice people. That's about it. There's one, maybe two good managers in the whole company.. unfortunately I had neither. Twice a year you get to finish early for gassing. The experience gave me new appreciation for managers that treat you like a human and companies that value staff, after I left. The bucket/bin/puddle maze every time it rains is kinda fun. They'll claim they're going to fix the roof, but apparently they've been saying that for the last 6+ years.

Cons

In the past week, most negative reviews have been removed.. be careful! ATL is one of 14 companies I have worked for over the years... and is by far the worst! Joining the company and staying for as long as I did is currently my biggest regret. Staff are not valued and are expected to "work like ants." Blame culture, lying and gaslighting are very normal here. Very questionable priorities from team leaders/management/upper management/HR. Overworked, underpaid and under constant stress. You get whiplash from all the changes in direction. For the title: There are very few Pharma/science companies in the area.. so most people relocate to join the company. Once there, you're effectively trapped. Your options are: spend a small fortune relocating again, move to GSK which is usually on temp contract, or stay till you can't stay any longer. Quite a few people leave without another job which says a lot! Honestly the worst company I have ever worked for. I get anxious just thinking about the place and going to Worthing. Life is so much more peaceful and happy since leaving.

Pros

-Free coffee -Clean toilets -Overtime on demand -Roof rarely leaks -Good goal and and right spirit of making aluminium free vaccines available for patients - HR is chill and helpful - Young staff

Cons

- Furniture management (unwilling to change and approve changes) - lower management usually has no clue what is happening and how to fix issues - decision making is extremely slow as production will start at 07:00 or even 06:00 but management starts work around 09:00-10:00 - cross-department cooperation is horrendous. QC will leave for break when production staff are actively waiting downstairs for a phone call to continue with the batch -Equipment is old and is regularly cannibalised to keep other bits of equipment going -Production and support management is unaware of the ongoings within production. -Planning regularly sets impossible deadlines as they also have no clue about how long processes take and then blame production for not meeting the deadlines even thought they are advised that it cannot be done. - Head of QA is also on the board. It is legal as he is a “contractor” however still a massive conflict of interest and unethical in my opinion - Production staff constantly pressured to do overtime due to miscommunication issues upstairs - Office staff never set foot in production areas but somehow write our regulatory documents without knowing the process - Poor employee satisfaction - Bad work - life balance - Processes are outdated and no plan to remedy them soon
