It’s BAD! Very BAD! - Senior Manager CHEP Employee Review

Many managers at CHEP have over the years incentivised their staff to leave positive reviews on this platform, this is due to the pressure applied by leadership, so please be careful when you consider those 5 star reviews. Good to see more genuine reviews coming through which encouraged me to write my own. The pressures in CHEP are immense and largely driven by CHEP bleeding talented people thanks to constant cost-cutting and a heavy reliance on using cheap third-party vendors. Most of the in-house experts have disappeared over the past decade, outsourced, so customers clearly aren’t a priority - it’s all about profits, profits, profits! Your job at CHEP is at risk from the day you start (unless you’re in HR, DEI or part of the senior leadership team]. Every department’s been slashed so much the whole operation is basically broken. The days of being a customer focussed and people-first company are long gone. Take it from someone who has worked here… you can do better.
