Pros

Beautiful office space with a modern design. On-site restaurant (Cegin) with free meals on Mondays and Wednesdays. Friendly receptionist who always goes above and beyond (but undervalued).

Cons

Chaotic Onboarding & HR Miscommunication – Training was non-existent, and HR only assisted when explicitly asked. Toxic Culture – While some colleagues seemed nice, there was a lot of behind-the-scenes negativity, especially towards those who spoke up. Lack of Recognition & Unfair Workload – Despite doing well and turning the department around, recognition was minimal—a pat on the shoulder at best. If someone left, I was expected to absorb their workload with no financial reward or acknowledgment. False Promises on Career Progression – The company claims to have structured career pathways, training, and progression, but in reality, it's all talk. No review results in a salary increase, even when exceeding expectations. High Turnover in HR – Around 10 HR team members left during my time, highlighting ongoing issues. Unprofessional Exit Process – The company is known internally for how it handles resignations. Employees commonly refer to the exit process as "capital law, trap door" because of how abruptly resigning staff are removed—access revoked, equipment collected, and paid in lieu of notice, even when willing to work it. No farewell, no appreciation, just discarded. Poor HR Leadership – HR leadership contributes to the company’s negative reputation, with inconsistent policies that impact employee experience.

Pros

I’ve recently completed my first six months at Capital Law, and I can genuinely say it’s been a fantastic experience. From the outset, I’ve felt welcomed and supported by a team that values collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement. *Superb offices and on-site chef (with free vegetarian meals on Mondays and Tuesdays) *Genuine work / life balance with the flexibility to WFH most of the week (I currently attend the office once a week).

Cons

No major cons to note so far—just the usual learning curve when starting a new role.
