A few pockets of excellence, mainly from recently acquired businesses. Causeway1 - the platform vision for integrating disparate products across the construction industry - is an interesting and generally worthwhile concept, but it is being executed poorly - by leadership and by the poor design and engineering practices of Causeway as a parent company.
Cons
Command and control style leadership, everyone afraid to tell the founder (de facto CEO), "No". Phil surrounds himself with yes men, and doesn't care one bit about anyone else. Most of my colleagues feel deflated, disillusioned burnt out and detached from the company's culture. Product decisions are often toptown and change rapidly, with the whole organisation left scrambling to change direction. There are a few pockets of excellence but honestly the majority of people aren't critical thinkers not are they very bright or hard working.
