Pros

Some lovely colleagues who made you feel welcome

I had heard some bad things about the company in the past but nothing prepared me for this (the fact the director even mentioned their ‘reputation’ in an interview and how they are trying to change it should have been an instant red flag). - Office environment is lifeless and draining, treated like children at school, scared to talk too much incase you get told off which makes it very difficult for new staff to interact and get to know people - company culture is in the dark ages, staff expected to work themselves into the ground with very little in return (made to feel like I was in the wrong when I expressed I was against this) - very poor instructions and communication from manager, not given proper training and made to feel incompetent when I wasn’t understanding their way quickly enough There is a reason the people who stick it out at head office are those who have progressed from store level - brainwashed into the Chisholm Hunter way of working and don’t know any better.
