Toxic management creates a hostile work environment - Anonymous employee Harrods Employee Review

The worst company I have ever worked for. I worked in H Beauty Edinburgh and the management was honestly shocking. They corner employees, bully staff, and create such a toxic and uncomfortable environment to work in. The amount of people who have left because of unfair treatment says everything. I have worked for years in retail and luxury beauty, and I have genuinely never experienced management that felt this condescending, unsupportive, and unprofessional. Instead of helping employees grow, the environment constantly feels negative and intimidating. The store itself seems to be struggling badly — losing employees, losing money, shutting down areas like the Dry Bar and Champagne Bar. Staff morale is extremely low and it is not difficult to understand why. I genuinely hope senior leadership starts paying attention to what is happening inside the store and how employees are being treated, because the management culture is one of the biggest issues. I do not want to publicly name , but management in Edinburgh L & F seriously need to reflect on the impact they have on people’s wellbeing and working lives. And just btw these managers are supposed to be working 40 hrs a week instead they only do 37.5 like the other staff. Breach of contract?
