Pros

OK pay and benefits and the majority of people are friendly.

Cons

Marketing is never good enough. It's always marketing's fault that there are no leads and that the business' revenue objectives aren't being hit. There are constant restructures and redundancies in the team and no clear strategy. Additionally, there are very limited progression opportunities, salary reviews aren't really a thing, and performance related bonuses never get paid out in full.

This is something that we regularly review to enhance our offering and reward our colleagues for high performance. Most recently in response to feedback, we have implemented an EV Salary Sacrifice scheme which is open to all UK colleagues. We are also pleased that you have found the majority of the people friendly. We believe our people are passionate about what they do and work together to foster a culture of inclusivity and belonging. Thank you for sharing your concerns regarding the Marketing team and we are disappointed to hear this was your experience. One of our core competencies is ownership, which we expect every colleague to demonstrate and to hear you have experienced a blame culture goes against this and is something we will look to address through our new Head of Marketing. Whilst we can appreciate that Company restructures can be unsettling, it is important that we remain agile to adapt to an ever-changing industry. That being said, we do approach any re-structuring in line with our core value of People First to ensure that those impacted are given all the support they need. We regularly conduct benchmarking exercises to ensure that our salaries are competitive in the market, and we are committed to paying a fair salary to all colleagues. We are proud that in challenging market conditions, we have continued to conduct annual salary reviews and reward our colleagues by paying out discretionary bonuses.

Pros

A family-owned business that was very successful at one point.

Cons

*Personnel: The same personnel retain their roles year-in and year-out which has led to poor decision-making, lack of new ideas and innovation and an overall stagnated work force. *Product: Since it's privately-owned, there are only minor investments made which pale in comparison to the competitors. In addition, new product and innovation suffer greatly. There hasn't been a new, revenue-generating product in years. *Compensation: every year commission and bonus changed especially with declining commercial performance (mostly tied to lack of investment in technology and product).  *Leadership: during my 4-6 years there, JATO went thru as many CEOs. The owner is very old school in thinking and creates an environment where it's difficult to challenge him and/or his cronies (also old school and not up-to-date on current business environment/realities).
