Pros
Nice people. Nice looking offices. Free fruit weekly, squash and hot drinks. Lots of learning opportunities. A technical expert in almost everything is available to work with. Unlike other consultancies, when they say they can do something invariably they have the right experience and knowledge to do it. Great senior management in Scotland but not the same everywhere in the organisation.
Cons
Have a timecode system, fine. But don't expect us to spend 1 hour a day doing administrative tasks and team/management meetings and lunch and learns and give us no time code or a frowned upon time code. I would really enjoy this job if I wasn't anxious about what I book every conversation I have to. The anxiety is crippling on a Friday afternoon, it's making me ill and I'm having to look to leave. Which is mad as I'm probably one of the highest performing members of the team. But speak to everyone else, they either work more hours than contracted to to fill the time sheet, or they over book to codes and have stopped caring, waiting to be flagged on it, and possibly sacked. The amount of forms to fill in is also insane. You can't be bothered asking for something as it comes with so many hoops to jump through.
