Pros

Family friendly, some lovely people

Cons

Massive organisation, very outdated and no investment in people or infrastructure. Damaging culture of positivity above all else, criticism or suggestions for improvement not tolerated. Bad ideas indulged if they are the vanity project of certain SLT, costing the charity a fortune. Experience and long service not appreciated.

Thank you for sharing such honest feedback and for your many years of dedication to the NSPCC. We’re sorry to hear that your experience left you feeling undervalued and unheard, particularly around opportunities, culture and how change was handled. We’re pleased you found the organisation family‑friendly and worked with people who made it a supportive place at times. At the same time, we take your comments about morale, listening to staff, and making better use of internal skills very seriously. Constructive challenge and diverse perspectives are essential if we are to grow and improve. Your advice has been heard, and learning from the experiences of colleagues remains an important part of how we work towards becoming a better place to build a career. Thank you again for your contribution and for taking the time to share your perspective.
