Management was a total let down! The idea of the job is pleasant on paper, unfortunately my time there was ruined by managers and certain staff members who liked to bully others and micromanage. Ruined my mental and physical health working there, my anxiety was through the roof. Regret not reporting the people that treated me badly.. especially the manager who made work unbearable. Would like to add that they treated everyone this way even customers - not a good look at all! Good customer service was preached all the time and the staffs customer service was constantly unfairly critiqued by the manager, when her customer service was terrible and even chased some customers away some times. I understand that the manager had pressure from upper management to hit targets, however this is no excuse and was actually counterproductive. Chased many members of staff (including myself) away. Management can make or break the team, in this case it was break unfortunately. Everyone that works in my shop was miserable.
