Pros
A very fun, busy, challenging place to work especially if you are new to the trades sector and range of products. I like that it challenges you to grow your knowledge and understanding or the products as well as the customers and the processes within the company. My favourite part has definitely been the customer interaction and being able to help and recommend products for their needs, you can create strong long lasting friendships if you have the right attitude.
Cons
Management can be poor, placing people in roles that they are not qualified for which in turn slows down the progress of the rest of the team. Also the systems and how things are processed can be quite slow and tedious especially when working in a busy fast paced environment, expected to do multiple things at once with lack of support at times.
