Poor management, hostile environment - PhD Student University College London Employee Review

PIs are not trained as managers. There is a culture of bullying, with little in the way of support for those who have experienced bullying or harassment. Complaints are handled internally by those who are often directly linked with those who are accused of poor behaviour. This limits confidentiality and often results in retaliation.
