Supportive Work Environment: The team is collaborative, approachable, and always willing to help. Work-Life Balance: Flexible policies and understanding leadership make balancing work and personal life easy. Positive Culture: Inclusive, respectful, and motivating atmosphere that makes coming to work enjoyable. Pros

- £5 lunch credit - Free gym (if you live around the office) - Nice offices (though always empty) - Great colleagues (at least in the lower ends of the hierarchy) have met some of the best people here

Cons

- Poor leadership from up top - Big egos that prevent good decisions - Lack of direction, leadership will say one thing then change their minds months later - All of the above link to the "boys club" culture that previous reviews have mentioned - Lack of transparency - Key people in the organisation were laid off, while others appeared to be safe, with no proper explanation given. Has led to an imbalance in workload. - Insists on "Gymshark values" that are not displayed by the company at all - Poor pay when compared to industry - Large pay discrepancies within teams, and discussing salary appears to be discouraged - Poor progression

HI - Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. We really appreciate you being so honest, as this feedback helps us to improve! We understand that Gymshark is a young company, and while still in the growth phase of our journey, we truly feel that we are learning and growing every day. We are more than ever aware of how we need to professionalize and we are eager to get involved in making improvements a reality for our employees. We are sorry that we weren't able to make your time at Gymshark a more positive experience, however, it would really benefit us to talk to you in more detail about the points you have raised. If you would be willing, it would be great if you could speak to one of our representatives about how we can make sure Gymshark supports its current employees.

Pros

Perks: If Local To HQ: Free Amazing Gym, Free Daily Lunch, Massage/HairCuts, Nice Offices. If Not: None. The people who are on the lower rungs at Gymshark are all amazing, great to learn form, work with, friendly, people who you would probably describe as friends within a year.

Cons

2 Years ago Gymshark was the place to be, everyone loved working here and we were all very driven and proud to work for Gymshark. Now, mass redundancies, 10+ developers have left since April and not a single one has been replaced, they preach about the Bonus Scheme on job ads but fail to mention we haven't been paid a bonus in years, they pretend to be doing actions about these things with department and company wide AMAs, but fail to commit to anything said in those AMAs, sometimes even U-Turning on them silently just to shut the little guys up. Salaries. Not even 60% of the market rate. Salary reviews are YEARLY and come in the form of a letter given to you by e-mail, no interactions or interviews or feedback. Simply 'We believe your current pay is fair, tough luck'. There is nothing you can do about this. Perks and the non-existent bonus are counted in your Salary Review in a handy second letter that you receive £8k in perks you never use so you better be appreciative of it peasant. in the 2 years of working here my salary has increased by £1.8k. Come October when the energy hikes hit, I will be on the verge of having to decide whether to eat or heat. Remote workers get NO stipend, support and are left behind in the dirt, this may be an intimidation tactic to get all remote workers to quit so they can actually fill their massive empty office. If anything, with power costs, remote working costs you money here. It really seems Gymshark wants to be come Amazon, with those at the lower rung simply working to exist while trying to maintain the facade that working for a once great Brand and Company is worth their lives.

Hi - Thank you for leaving this review. We respect you for taking the time to be honest and open with how you are feeling. We are also sorry to hear you feel this way, but we also are aware that we have had a rocky few months at Gymshark. Within the new business plan, we truly believe that the direction and progression of Gymshark is made clear to employees, and we hope you also feel the same way. However, we are always looking at ways in which we can improve, so we would really love to hear more about your take on salary positioning in one of our Pay and Perks Ask Me Anything session (AMA's). Please come along and join us if you are free, as we believe hearing your feedback in more detail would be really insightful. We would also find it really useful for you to speak to your people partner so we could have more in-depth conversations about the topics you have mentioned in your review. We can then work together to make Gymshark a stronger business.
