Pros

They don't charge you for a cup of coffee The mini bus from Gatwick airport to the office is free If you use the included benefits they are ok. If you don't, they are worthless. Don't let them sway your decision to come and work here. We get to work from home one day a week. Be warned though. Officially it's a 'non parking day', because they wont pay the building operator for more car parking spaces. They could pull that rug from under your feet at any time if they choose, and tell you to walk to work on your 'non parking day'.

Cons

I hope you like your role, because that's the only one you will ever have at this company. There is no chance of career progression. Have plans of one day working up to being a manager? Look elsewhere. Ancient back end technology which is in the process of being updated to slightly less ancient. Have sympathy for all of the IT staff who have been replaced by an Indian company that flew in all of their own employees. Many of the IT staff that were given the boot have been loyal with over 10 years service. If a certain credit card company pulled the plug tomorrow, we would all be out a job. is that any way to run a business?

Pros

Some discounts on travel, but that is all, there are no pros of working in this hell hole.

Cons

Managers are in serious need of training, they rely on berating and bullying tactics and constantly like to trip you up on everything. Hard work is not recognised in any way and they are consistently stealing our ideas and passing them off as their own. You are treated as a number and not a person. If you don't agree with how something is done, the response you get is 'you know where the door is'.

Pros

+ Working hours somewhat flexible and opportunity to work from home one day a week. + Avios when you pass probation (equivalent to about £2) + Free minibus to town centre?

Cons

Misguided management who will appraise you on your personality and not your work performance. If your face doesn't fit and you're not skipping around the office, you'll score low at Avios by a manager who's not afraid to raise his middle finger at employees. If you're not good at your job but say the right things, you'll do well.
