      Pros

      You can work with a wide variety of teams and on a wide variety of tasks, so there's opportunities to meet new people and learn new skills. Working with students is very rewarding. Annual leave is good and includes free annual leave at Christmas and Easter.

      Cons

      To get promoted past a certain level, it feels a lot about who you know and if you've chatted in the pub with them before. Administration staff are not as valued as faculty, and faculty are the only ones making high level decisions that impact everyone.
