Unfortunately it seemed like the hire was not really needed or thought through and everything was very poorly managed and organised. First of all, nowhere in the interview process or job description it mentions how many tasks you have to do in this job, some of which are long and arduous, such as having to manually copy and paste details and CVs of each applicant onto their ATS, because they do not have any processes or systems that make this automatic. This means you spend hours and hours copying and pasting applications of hundreds of people, and 80% of them get rejected on the ATS as soon as the service managers check them. There was also a lack of proper training materials when starting the role, was even told that when the supervisor started there was no training material, but she just "picked it up as they went". This is concerning as there is no real training, it's more of a figure it out and try to do as many things as you can, flawlessly and in a short amount of time. And on top of all of that, you're doing the job of 2 people for a salary of 20k. Unless you've been in the business for ages pr have connections inside the business, you're expected to work incessantly and raise your stress levels through the roof, because "it's manageable". In conclusion, if you're a young person looking to start in TA, choose a different company or industry. There are better jobs out there, with better management and better salaries.
