Management is over run with poorly trained and poorly experienced individuals who happen to have been with the company a long time. Project work is very ordinary, not a place to become an engineer with outstanding experience. Overtime is expected on all projects for most of the time. Pay is low. Talent is not recognised. Office is lack luster and not exactly a place to take clients. Managers are more interested in browsing the internet than listening to a staff members problems. Senior directors are very difficult to work with, set unrealistic targets, that cause considerable stress to all those lower in the company.

IT staff hide away from the main business, sitting behind a locked door and not approachable. IT Management have been embedded for years, and have built a team structure to support their position. A fundamental lack of understanding of the basic building blocks of IT. No adoption of even basic ITIL, a helpdesk system not set-up correctly, no inventory/asset history or staff data or change control. IT Management are arrogant and aggressive, bullying is common place. No visibility of strategic direction, no documentation or project managment.
