I was sad to leave but happier that I did!
Pros
Lots of team building activities Good technology (and modern)
Cons
The people department look past their own staff and care more about the sales teams (I would love to say they care about the engineering teams too but they definitely care more about sales than any other team). No appreciation or care for those working within People Strategy. Adding to this; a very US centric culture and they absolutely do not care about anyone outside of the US no matter how much revenue generation or technical progress is made in the other locations. The career progression path does not appear to come from working hard, it appears to come to those who are friends with management. Unless you hand in your notice and are counter offered to stay (which is usually too late and still not a good enough offer). You will be taken for granted, if you work hard and don’t kick up a fuss then expect to stay the same level with the same salary until you have already mentally signed out and started looking elsewhere. You can have all the positive feedback in the world on MyMoose and still will not be promoted nor recognised for the hard work you do. Managers aren’t trained to deal with neurodiverse staff. In fact, they are dismissive and sometimes even hostile to any requests or requirements. The “DBAA” mantra that Christina Luconi says she pushes is absolutely not true. She will openly diss you on zoom (with many witnesses in group settings) if you question her on anything or if you have any opinion that differs from what she tries to enforce. (CL is not the sole problem, CL is just the person I dealt with most so I cannot make a reference to any other member of the leadership team) Poor yearly salaries in comparison to the market and on top of the poor salary they pay you, you then have to commute to an office and/or pay for your parking 3 days a week (minimum). No flexibility for working hours or arrangements.
