Pros

Great people to work with. The products we manufacture are being used in a meaningful way in the bio medical sector.

Cons

The management have really dropped the ball this year (2022/2023) on employee satisfaction and salary rewards; especially during these tough times - and this is for a company that is turning over huge profits on a >£100 million business (this is just for the UK operation; worldwide Sartorius turn over > 3 bn Euros) The well paid management share the profits with a minimum of 20% bonus, the rest of the staff might be lucky to get just over 4%! An unequal bonus system. The mood is quite low as the management seem to be ignoring the situation - yes they have their heads stuck in the proverbial sand!! - of course they will tell you they are very aware of the situation and are making positive steps for the future. We have a recruitment freeze and we are losing good staff; they do nothing to try a retain the good staff and seem happy to just let them go... This company is not the same as it was when I started just a few years ago.

Dear colleague, thank you very much for taking the time to evaluate Sartorius as an employer. We will share your review internally and if you haven’t done so yet, we kindly ask you to share your feedback internally yourself with your manager and/or the HR team. There are two points that we would like to revisit: After creating more than 2,000 new jobs in the first nine months of 2022, we have slowed down the pace of hiring. Our focus is now on further integrating the many new colleagues. Nevertheless, we are continuing to hire: Currently, around 170 positions are open globally. We would also like to provide additional information regarding the bonus system for managers: To provide fair and performance-based pay opportunities, employees in management positions can receive a base salary and a variable pay component, which makes up 10-40% of their overall salary, depending on the management level. What's important to note is that the variable pay proportion is tied to a set of global, divisional and sometimes individual targets and rewards managers who achieved the targets they agreed on with their managers. By the way, the Employee Net Promotor Score, a metric which indicates how likely employees are to recommend Sartorius as a place to work, is a key figure in regards to determining the variable pay for managers. Pros

Not so many...interesting projects but so under priced...so good if you are a customer who does not know what you wan, you can get cheap deal

Cons

As heading says ...if mistake happens ( as they do) everybody are finger pointing to weakest link/nicest person even though that is not their fault. Very unfair and not much team culture going on..shame because this place could be a very good place to work
