Pros

Benefits such as holiday buy, ok retirement plan all the pros are schneider standard - nothing that relates in any shape or form to this site. pro/con - if you make good 'friendships', you will be able to progress in your career quickly

Cons

- bullying culture - not matching skills of employees to job. - Since some of the old management left/retired and site has been completely taken over by Laurent and his minions, quality of employement drastically dropped. - Many people started suffering on mental health, therefore affected their physical health. - Management accepts more orders than they can possibly produce and then makes is operators problem. - Constant lack of tools to work with and what is more important material. The downtime for lack of material is ridicilous. - Pressured to do overtime - if your skills do not match the job you're supposed to do, if you request move, they won't. They will bully you and put even more pressure on until you do it yourself. - Higher level of management started to hire for nice managerial roles their acquaintances. - There is a ban on using radio anywhere on shopfloor, so long day 10 hour shift drags more than it should (plus overtime) - they have this 50% of staff to be female, which means you might have the best skills and still not get hired, only because you are a man (before anyone jumps in and says review has been written by bitter man, it is written by female who saw it all happen/heard about it all happen first hand) - they say they are diverse, but as soon as your disabilities might affect your work, they will put more pressure on you (circle back to bully culture). - if you need help from HR - this department is a joke - no help or support, don't know what do they get paid for. Right now morales are at the lowest, do not come here. If you want to come here, wait 2 years when management changes - as is it standard procedure of Schneider.

Pros

It is a shame because everyone I communicated with outside the department I worked for were helpful and understanding to the new learner process. They provided more support that my actual department did. A lot of fantastic engineers that know their stuff and know what a real sales person should be.

Cons

The department I worked for were delusional on what a team looks like or how it should work and about sales in general. You are hazed if you do not fit into they're generic old school view of what a sales person should be - despite building a good repertoire with customers and employees outside the office. It was a very lad environment and no room for women, with sexist comments and nasty comments made daily. I was basically bullied out of the job.

Pros

Great people, when you start you get a phone and a laptop. Food is cheap and subsidised. Travel to other sites covered. Good benefits portals for cheap cinema tickets, gift cards etc. Promotions very rare I worked with someone who got more and more work for 6 years with only 2 1% payrises and no promotions.

Cons

I worked in London and it cost a fortune everyday, people sit in sections and ignore each other. Management quick to delegate jobs they are being paid to do to you who isn't. Pay doesn't match what you do and 1% pay rise every year (IF youre lucky!!!) Lots of data entry, they take all the engineers and turn them into sales men. If you don't want to do sales you sit in an office making PowerPoints and dealing with all the back office stuff they don't want the sales guys to do. Sales team go out and see customers, and then pass all the paperwork backwards. You can never ever get hold of anyone on another site. And all the systems!!! The computer systems don't work or work with each other - very frustrating! Everything seems great on social media but you realise very quickly youre a data entry monkey while the VPs jet set around wining and dining customers. Lots of internal bitchiness.
