Pros

You get free meals and a uniform

Cons

Where do I start, management are awful only care about the budget not the staff or creating a great team or making sure the hotel can be 5 star. British people get discrimination and get pushed aside. Everyone is two faced and tell terrible lies about each other. The staff turnover is very high and no one cares. The work load is very high not enough time to create a 5 star room the guests expect. They e are terrible they don't listen or care but they sure do love handing out false discipline. All the good workers get complained about by the lazy managment who do nothing but create problems not solve them.

Pros

Only free meals, delicous dinners

Cons

Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa, Edinburgh: houseekeping job it's very very hard, very stressful two weeks training, zero human understanding, very physically exhausting job. You spend 9 hours per day in hotel. This is not normal. You must clean 30 rooms per day and it doesn't matter that you work with another person: you have 15 minutes to clean one room (changing bed linen and towels, making beds, vacuuming and mopping floors, dusting and polishing furniture, cleaning bathrooms, replacing stocks of guest supplies and when you so tired you must additionally vacuuming and mopping long hotel corridor). This is unreliable. They offer casual job without hours guarantee.
