Pros

Strong focus on inclusion: The company prioritizes a diverse and inclusive culture. Active Employee Networks: Numerous Employee Network Groups (ENGs) support personal interests, beliefs, and overall wellbeing. Transparent Career Growth: Clear roadmaps and defined paths for professional advancement. Holistic Benefits: A comprehensive rewards package designed to support employees' individual needs from a well-rounded perspective.

Cons

Internal communication between business areas needs significant improvement. Additionally, the reward structure is opaque and inconsistently applied, making professional development feel more like a matter of personal rapport with a manager than a standard company process. Since the post-COVID transition, roles that were condensed have not been restored, leading to a 'double-down' effect where employees are facing increased expectations with fewer resources and higher pressure.

Thank you for taking the time to share such a thoughtful and detailed review, and for your continued contribution over more than 10 years with TUI. We’re really pleased to hear that you value our focus on inclusion, our Employee Network Groups, and the clarity around career pathways and holistic benefits. Creating an inclusive environment where colleagues can grow and feel supported is something we are deeply committed to, so it’s encouraging to see this recognised. We also appreciate your candid feedback around internal communication, reward transparency and post-COVID workload pressures. We continue to review how we communicate across business areas, how reward frameworks are applied, and how we support teams as the business evolves. Good pay no commute

Business Outlook

Pros

Local base so no commute, range of Ling Haul and Short Haul. Full time around 72 days holiday per annum. £2500 to spend on a holiday each year. Dependent on length of service.

Cons

Company is imbedded in ageism. Any promotion is given in length of service so that only older people are accepted. So career progression is non existent. Practical Training Facilities haven’t been updated since the 90’s old Airbus aircraft with Airtours seats. No Dreamliner Mock up cabin. Which is really bizzare.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and for your continued contribution over more than 10 years with TUI. We’re really pleased to hear that you value the local base, variety of long and short haul flying, holiday allowance and travel benefits. Providing competitive benefits and flexible base options is an important part of supporting our Cabin Crew community. We also take your concerns seriously. We are committed to providing equal opportunities for progression based on skills, performance and potential. Feedback regarding perceptions of fairness in promotion processes is important and helps us review how clearly and consistently we communicate criteria and development pathways. Your comments regarding training facilities are also noted. Ensuring our training environments effectively support operational excellence and colleague development is a priority, and investment decisions are continually reviewed across the business. Thank you again for taking the time to provide detailed feedback and for your ongoing commitment to TUI. Best wishes from the TUI Employer Brand Social Media Team
